Nuwanthi Dias

Nuwanthi is an internationally trained lawyer with over 25 years of experience. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013, and practices in the Estates Group. She helps clients with their estate planning and estate administration. She is a good listener and is empathetic. She firmly believes that listening to your clients’ needs is of paramount importance. She often helps elderly and vulnerable clients who not only need solid legal advice, but also a sympathetic ear.

Nuwanthi is also a member of the firm’s estate litigation group where she helps clients navigate a wide range of issues; Will challenges, Power of Attorney disputes, Passing of Accounts, guardianships and removal of estate trustees etc.,

Prior to joining Merovitz, she practised at two other reputed law firms in Ottawa and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her practice.

Outside of work, her two little granddaughters are her pride and joy and she loves spending time with them. She also loves books, movies and the theatre and is a cat mom to her Tiberius
