Matthew is an accomplished solicitor with extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions and land development law. He represents developers, builders, landowners, and lenders at the local, regional, and national levels, advising on a broad range of matters, including property acquisitions and dispositions, residential subdivision creation and financing, and commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
Since joining Merovitz Potechin, Matthew has become a valued member of our Real Estate Group. His practical, solutions-oriented approach, dedication to his clients, and commitment to delivering exceptional legal services has made him an important part of our team. His experience and deep understanding of the real estate and development industry continue to strengthen our ability to guide clients through complex transactions and development projects.

A graduate of the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, Matthew was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012. Born and raised in Ottawa, he has strong roots in the community and remains committed to supporting local charities and causes.
