Yongmei Wang is a litigation lawyer at Merovitz Potechin LLP. She brings over a decade of experience as a practicing lawyer in China since 2003, where she handled a wide range of litigation matters including family law, corporate law, intellectual property, criminal defense and employment disputes. Beyond private practice, Yongmei has dedicated significant effort to non-governmental organizations, advocating for human rights, children’s and women’s rights, domestic violence prevention, and LGBTQ+ equality.

After relocating to Canada, Yongmei obtained her Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2026. Prioritizing clear communication and client-centered service, she offers legal services in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Outside of the office, Yongmei enjoys traveling and watching movies. During the Canadian winters, she has taken up skiing and quickly developed a passion for the slopes.
